The Goals

LINA brings Linux applications to all platforms more easily and robustly than any other cross-platform solution. In designing LINA, we kept the following three goals in mind:

LINA allows Linux applications to always run on all platforms. This requires that a Linux kernel be part of the solution.

Running Linux apps on LINA is simple and delightful. LINA applications are easy to install and run with native look and feel on all platforms.

Packaging Linux apps for LINA is easy and enjoyable. With minimal effort, a developer can transform a Linux application into a LINA binary and  generate native installers for all platforms.
