We at Lina Software are proud to announce the release of LINA 0.72.
This release is free of a large number of bugs and annoying features discovered by users our beta releases. The new features and bug fixes in LINA 0.72 are detailed below.

We are still debugging on Windows Vista, Windows 2003, and Linux OpenSUSE 11. We will have LINA installers for those operating systems up in the next several days.
NEW FEATURES
For developers:
* A developers' download that includes tools for creating universal LINA binaries for your Linux application
* Basic developer documentation, with more to come
* Cross-platform installer plugins for custom setup during installation of your Linux application
* The ability to automatically convert a debian binary into a universal LINA binary with installers for all supported platforms
For users:
* LINA applications are included in the system path on all platforms
* LINA applications are installed in relocatable application directories
* File path translation occurs automatically for command line programs on all platforms
* An extraordinary number of bug fixes have been implemented
* Vastly improved application install experience
More platforms:
* Support for Mac Tiger Intel/PPC and Leopard Intel and PPC
* Support for more Linux platforms

On our community site, you will find our new "Friends of LINA" login page: http://openlina.org/joomla/index.php/developers/friends-of-lina . This is where you can log on gain access to our application testing area, where we hold applications while we are testing them for various platforms before making them available to the general public. We currently have four applications in the testing area, and will be adding many more in the days to come.
